There is a common thread of advice I see in every “how to write a blog” post. That advice is to identify your audience or reader and write like you are talking to that group or person. In this blog, I am not writing to any particular group but more likely a person with similar interests and life circumstances. One of the exercises is to write down a description of your person, or reader, to better understand the tribe you are building. The members of my community may look something like the following description.
My tribe loves the great outdoors and sunshine on their shoulders whether it is a walk on the beach or a hike down a wooded path. They seek the treasures revealed with each new day. They appreciate art, theater, and sing out loud even if they cannot carry a tune. They are thoughtful and playful. They love cooking, eating, and sharing food with friends and family. They are introspective and have a sense of the universal connection that exists between all of us. My tribe seeks to find ways to enhance their lives and the lives of others through their work, art, and relationships. They try hard, and it doesn’t always work out the way they planned. They believe that there is a way to get it done. My tribe dream and inspire.
Well folks, there it is, the pack I am going to take with me on this journey of #Bravehavior. Climb aboard the wagon, pack a few snacks and let’s “Sing Out Louise!”
