We are in the early days of Spring and coming quickly up on Easter Sunday. Both of these seasons bring about the desire for new beginnings each year. Here are five things that you can do to inspire new growth in your life at any time of year.
1. Plant Something: Create an herb garden for your kitchen counter, plant a rose bush in your yard, plant tomatoes in containers on your patio. Planting brings new life physically into your world.
2. Paint, Sew, Draw, or Weave Something: Art is a beautiful abstract facet of your soul. Art isn’t about forging a masterpiece every time. Using color, different materials, and your creativity brings you new freedom of expression.
3. Be a Mentor: You have experience and knowledge to share with someone beginning their new journey. Find a way to share your heart with them. You can send kind and supportive messages or spend time over coffee listening and offer guidance. Your experience can yield new hope to somebody.
4. Create a Sacred Space: Your sacred space can be indoors or outdoors. You may have more than one in your home, or maybe you have found a spot in the wilderness nearby that inspires you. For more specific details on this see yesterday’s post. Sacred Spaces bring you renewed energy and healing into your body.
5. Write: Your words have power beyond what you can consciously comprehend. Write affirmations, write out your perfect day, write a poem, write a song, write your history, write your future. Writing releases your thoughts from inside your head into the world, like smoke signals to the universe. Writing helps you to manifest your desires into existence.
