I am attending an event today that is almost a reunion of sorts. Many of my colleagues from my previous employer will be attending, including the guest presenter. I am a natural pot stirrer. I make the best soups and gumbos and they are often requested by all of my family members. But the pot I’m talking about today is one where I have to decide which ingredients I will pull from my soul. I have some pent up anger towards a few people there. They could use a wooden spoon spanking or a hot bath in the kettle. Then I hear the words of Michelle Obama say “When they go low, we go high.” Today I will say a prayer that the universal energy that surrounds us guides me to potential new members of my tribe. People who care about me and want to find a way to connect. Hopefully, the Shingles Virus that is taking over my right eye won’t scare them away. Every day you should stop and think about how are you going to stir the pot? What you put in and stir will come out amplified either sweet or sour and it is yours to eat alone or to share. If it just a horrible, no good, very bad day, then turn the pot upside down and bang on it with the spoon, yelling out your anger. Please apologize to the spoon when you are done.
